Can I add my own ISO Compliance Obligations
Every organisation has it’s own compliance obligations to which it needs to comply.
These obligations might include contractual requirements and as such, we will not have included in the ISO Compliance Tool.
However, you can add the Obligation, define the management requirements and add it to your ISO Compliance Registers.
You will be able to complete audits against the requirements and set tasks in the normal way.
How do I add my own ISO Compliance Obligations
- It is very easy to add your own Compliance Obligations to the ISO Compliance Register tool.
Remember, that you will need to add the Obligation to the system, and then in a separate step, add the obligation to any Registers to which it applies.
Please note that we have referred to each Compliance Obligation that you add as ‘Requirement’. You will therefore add a ‘Requirement’.
Steps to add your own ISO Compliance Obligations
These steps will help you add the Requirements to your System. Please note that you then add these to your Register (see next support article).
Follow the steps as follows:
- Select the ‘Add own Requirements’ section in the left hand column of the page
- Click the blue button on the bottom-right of the table ‘Add requirement’
- The ‘Requirements Panel’ will open
- Add a Title for the Requirement
- Add a short overview of the Requirement – up to 150 Characters. This will be used to show your team a short summary
- Add Full Requirement Details – up to 1000. This is a more complete overview of the Requirement so the team know the requirements.
You will now have the Requirement listed in the System, so you can add it to your ISO Compliance Registers as you choose.
