Create a task in ISO Compliance Register

Creating Tasks

You can create tasks for each entry in each Register that you have in your system. This is useful information for you to ensure that your team are engaged in the processes, and to show your evidence of continual improvement for ISO management.

Please note that only editors can create, assign and manage tasks.

Detail Tasks and Assign them to a User

To create a task, open the ‘Manage Register’ by clicking the ‘Edit Register’ icon (the pencil in the top left corner). You will see four columns in the table;

  • Title (Title of the Compliance Obligation in your Register)
  • Applicability (The Category of Applicability that you have assigned the item)
  • Compliant (The latest classification of compliance that you have assigned during an audit)
  • Actions (a set of three dots that open us a menu of options)

The actions that are available to you in the ‘Manage Register’ view are as follows:

  • Assign tasks
  • View tasks List
  • Edit the Requirement
  • Audit Requirement
  • Remove from Register
 
Select ‘Assign task’ and the following panel will appear. Follow the guide for each entry point in the table below.

1. Choose a task type

Select the type of task you want to set. You can choose the following: 

  • Non-confomance
  • Opportunity for Improvement
  • Observations (If you can’t choose between an Non-conformance (NC) or an Opportunity for Improvement (OFI)

2. Enter a title for the task

Enter the title you want to give your task

3. Enter a description of the task (1000 chars)

Enter a description for the task. As a task creator, you should give as much information as possible for the person you are going to allocate the work to.

You have 1000 characters.

4. Assign a person

Click the box to see the dropdown of all the people in the system. Click the person that you want to do the work

Note; You can only choose people that are registered in the system

5. Task Notes (1000 chars)

As a task creator, you don’t need to use this panel and the person who is allocated the task will enter their information in here.

6. Start Date

Set a start date

7. Due Date

Set a due date

8. Assign task button

Click the blue ‘Assign task’ button to allocate the task.

Please note that the person to whom you have allocated the task will receive an email to their work inbox.
