New legislation for my ISO Compliance Register
New legislation and my ISO Compliance register
When new legislation* is passed in any of the UK Parliaments or Assemblies, or the Seanad in Ireland, we will add it to the ISO Compliance Register tool.
This will be communicated to users in 2 ways:
- In the Dashboard item (New requirements item)
- Monthly updates to paid subscriptions (Please note that free users will get a limited update).
*ISO Compliance Registers limits the scope of legislation to that which directly affects companies that typically use the ISO Management Standard. We do not guarantee to add every item of legislation that is passed.

You will be able to see a more complete list, if you filter the list (see the diagram above). You will be able to see items from the last:
- 1 – 3 Months
- 4 – 7 Months

You will see a complete list of all new legislation from the last 12 months that you can choose to add to your ISO Compliance Register.
How often should I add to my Compliance Register?
The ISO Management System Standards are not prescriptive as to when you add requirements to your ISO Compliance Register.
However, what you should aim to do is set a schedule that is relevant to the context of your organisation. For example, if you work in a highly regulated sector, you would probably want to review legislation more often than if your industry was less regulated.
The ISO Compliance Register tool is updated continually through the month; we will update subscribers on a monthly basis, so you can choose the period of review that suits you.
